Despite having immense trouble spelling their name without checking it a few times, Strychnia is a great up and coming brutal death metal band, in the vein of Dying Fetus, Aborted and more. The band has had one full length album released so far entitled The Anatomy Of Execution, which you can stream or buy over at their bandcamp right now. It's worth the listen for sure. They are also about to release a brand new EP, Reanimated Monstrosity set to release May 14th.
Strychnia's brand of brutal death metal doesn't exactly do anything new for the genre as a whole, but they fit incredibly well into said genre and their sound is very tight. These guys deserve more attention. You should help them get farther pas the 6k likes mark on Facebook.
Their new EP actually features Dying Fetus's own John Gallagher on guest vocals, so if that doesn't do enough to get you to check them out, I'm not sure what will.
Strychnia show a lot of promise as a band and have had an incredibly solid start to their career. If they get the recognition they deserve they could really take this sound places.
